Music Legends in the Making:

Mama Duke, Elle Townley & DJ Cassie

“Together, these photos highlight the unique power, talent, and evolution of each artist.”

For Austin Woman Magazine's Music Issue, I styled three incredible women making waves in Austin's music scene, each bringing their unique artistry to life.

For Mama Duke, a hip hop artist and founder of the ATX Social Club, we embraced bold, early 2000s-inspired hip hop vibes. Drawing inspiration from a recent performance by Rihanna, paying tribute to André Leon Talley in his signature red Norma Kamali coat, we channeled that same fearless energy into the shoot.

For DJ Cassie, a multi-talented DJ, composer, and educator, we went with a clean and sophisticated look, styling her in silky joggers, a tank top, and a bright orange open shirt for a pop of color. This look captures her effortless cool while celebrating her vibrant creativity and talent.

For Elle Townley, a rising star in the Texas country scene, we merged classic country roots with a modern flair. Inspired by legend Dolly Parton, Elle’s look featured a sparkling crystal-embellished blazer paired with bell bottoms and cowboy boots—a fresh take on a timeless country vibe.
